FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

All spring maintenance has been completed and the courses are in terrific condition. The crews have planted 20,000 square feet of new sod in areas around the courses where trees have been removed over the past few years. The annual plants have been changed out and all the beds have been freshly mulched. The new cart staging area has been completed and new irrigation and landscape have been put in. The crews are currently focused on grooming and detailing the courses.

Lastly we continue to work on completing the plans for course improvements coming this summer. The improvements will include a total redo of the driving range and practice greens by #13 gold, tee leveling of all tees on the blue course, the addition of some new tees on both courses, the replacement of bridges on 14 and 16 blue, removal of Bermuda grass encroachment into all greens, smoothing the collars around the greens, leveling of several fairways, reshaping of some creek and lake banks, and replacement of some cart paths that are broken.  We will be adding updates to the course update page on our website.
